Chasing a target of 175, Bangladesh gave a good account of themselves but fell short by 30 runs. India got two quick wickets early on after a very impressive start from Deepak Chahar. But Mohammad Mithun and Mohammad Naim led the rebuild for Bangladesh.
It was Deepak Chahar, who gave India the key breakthrough of Mithun in the 13th over. Bangladesh never really got going after that as Shivam Dube playing only his third game got in the act and scalped three quick wickets.?
Chahar continued his dream day with another three wickets of three consecutive deliveries late on to bundle Bangladesh out for 144.?
Earlier, India had posted 174 much largely due to the twin fifties of KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer. India lost their openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan very early, but Rahul and Shreyas came led the rebuilding job as they added 59.?

Rahul went after scoring 52, while Shreyas continued on his merry way to score 62. A late flourish from Manish Pandey took India to the above par score of 174.
After the loss in the first game, India showed the spirit to mount a comeback to win the series 2-1.?
The focus will now shift to the Test series which begins on 14 November.
