Kuldeep Yadav was in top form, taking two wickets in two balls during the 42nd over of the iconic India vs Pakistan clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. He first dismissed Salman Agha for 19 off 24, followed by Shaheen Afridi, who had just walked in to bat.
However, it seems the Pakistani pacer was not happy with the decision and went for a review ! despite the on-field umpire giving him out, and it was clearly out for everyone to see.
Trapped LBW by Kuldeep's well-disguised googly, Shaheen quickly signaled for the review. DRS revealed a large gap between bat and ball, and the three reds confirmed the decision, sending him back to the pavilion.
Shaheen's unexpected review left fans puzzled, with many taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) to question why he wasted it.?One fan joked: "All you need in life is the kind of confidence Shaheen Afridi had when taking that review."?
Another quipped: "Shaheen Afridi reviewed that as if he had smashed it with both bats from both ends. Brainfade of a review."
Someone else added: "Shaheen Afridi took that review so quickly and so confidently that I thought he might have got an inside edge ! but the bat was nowhere near the ball!"
Another fan commented: "They call Shaheen Afridi 'THE EAGLE' ! but look at his blindness; he actually reviewed this."
