It seems Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, and their family are on a spiritual journey. Following their visit to Premanandji Maharaj in Vrindavan, they have now visited Radhavallabh Lal Ji. While many are delighted to see the modern legend of the game seeking blessings ahead of the England series and the Champions Trophy, setting an inspiring example for the younger generation, others are less pleased. Some are unhappy with the sheer number of videos circulating online documenting every aspect of these ashram visits.
Recently, a new video of the power couple visiting Vrindavan to seek blessings from Radhavallabh Lal Ji has gone viral. This comes just days after their visit to Premanandji Maharaj in Vrindavan. The duo frequently visits spiritual leaders to seek blessings, whether in India or abroad, such as in the UK.
While the majority of fans admire Virat Kohli's spiritual journey, a few have expressed skepticism, viewing these visits as mere PR stunts. The ashram visits began after his return to India following the conclusion of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT), where he managed to score just 190 runs across six innings.?
The discussion has sparked a debate on X (formerly known as Twitter). One user commented: "Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma*s visit to seek blessings from Gurudev and Radhavallabh Lal Ji in Vrindavan reflects their deep faith and spiritual connection. May their devotion continue to inspire others on the path of spirituality."?
?Another user questioned: "Who's recording this???"?
One post expressed distrust: "Can confirm fraud written all over his face. Abhi nahi toh thode saalon baad hi."?
Another user compared the situation to Rohit Sharma's trolling for receiving support from film actors, calling it a PR move:"Vidya Balan tweeted for Rohit〞'man shameless PR oh god PR.' Kohli posting temple videos〞'Man Krishna bhakt. What a man.'"?
Currently, skipper Rohit Sharma and star batter Virat Kohli are in hot waters, facing criticism after an underwhelming performance in the BGT and an overall disappointing 2024/25 Test cricket season.?
In response, the BCCI is reportedly planning to introduce stricter protocols for Team India's tours, according to ESPNcricinfo. These new measures are expected to include restrictions on players spending time with their families during tours. Additionally, players will no longer be allowed to use independent transport to travel to and from practice sessions or matches.?
For tours lasting 45 days or more, players' family members will be permitted to join them for a maximum of 14 days. On shorter international tours, immediate family members can stay with the players for up to one week.?
