The England cricket team might be taking a break from the gruelling Test series in India by spending time in Dubai but the country's former Prime Minister David Cameron is rubbing it in on how poorly they've competed in the series so far.

India are leading the 5-match Test series 2-0 with two matches remaining and are one win or draw away from sealing the series. However, Cameron who is keeping a close eye on the team's proceedings in India, jokes that the only way England can play better cricket in India is if 'Sachin Tendulkar is kidnapped by England to train them'.
"I hear the Little Master is going to be here later. Given the way the Test series is going, we may have to kidnap him for some extra tuition and training," Cameron spoke at the HT Leadership summit on Saturday.

When asked 'does the England team suck at playing in India?' he said: "I don't accept that for a minute, India are No 1 side and England are next best."
However, Cameron did recall the proud moment for him when England went on to whitewash India 4-0 in the 2011 series in England. "Many years ago, as Prime Minister, I had the enormous privilege of watching England versus India at the Oval. It was a wonderful, hot summer's day. I was able to go to the dressing room after two English batsmen Ian Bell and Kevin Pietersen had scored centuries. When they score a century they like to have a bottle of lager in the dressing room. It was a very proud moment," he said.
Sure Mr Cameron, but this is 2016 and England can't win a series here. At least not this one.
