Anwar had personally carried the oxygen concentrator on an Indigo flight from Bengaluru to Delhi on April 26, after his father's Sp02 levels dropped while availing treatment at a Delhi hospital. After struggling for almost 24 hours and continuously coordinating with the airport and airline officials, Anwar revealed a person reached out to him with a picture of his carton for confirmation.?
The airline checked the CCTV footage and it was found that the package had been mistakenly picked by the member of a CSK team, who had landed at the airport at around the same time as Anwar. The carton carrying oxygen was picked by the CSK team member as part of the team's luggage.?
As per the report by The News Minute, a CSK source confirmed that while the players take a chartered flight, team members take a regular flight. And the luggage of the team is kept in a separate room for a day to be sanitised. Anwar's package was also in the room and it was returned by the CSK management on April 27 night after they realised they had a piece of extra baggage in their room.?
Anwar's family was meanwhile desperate for the oxygen concentrator as they had not been able to find a hospital bed for his father. Nonetheless, the package with the oxygen concentrator was delivered to Anwar after Indigo staff went to the hotel where CSK are staying in Delhi and picked the package.?
