Sachin Tendulkar finished his career with 100 international centuries, but he scored just one in the Indian Premier League.

On April 15, 2011, he took on the Kochi Tuskers Kerala bowlers in Mumbai and displayed a glimpse of his old self. He was almost 38, but age was just a number.
After Kochi opted to field, Sachin took charge from the start. He was on a mission and made full use of this opportunity. Having won the World Cup a few days back was an added boost.

Sachin scored all over the wicket and displayed more than usual power during his innings. Runs flowed with grace and speed off the bat. Kochi knew a master was at work and they pretty much went through the motions.
Then came the moment! Sachin reached his hundred. Mumbai Indians scored 182/2 out of which the Master Blaster had slammed 100 in 66 balls. He hit 12 fours and 3 sixes.

Sadly it was not enough to win the game as Kochi reached the target with 8 wickets to spare. However, Sachin once again showed why he was the best batsman in the world. He may have been past his prime, but the fire was still raging within.
