In Barcelona's match against Las Palmas, Messi, after seeing goalkeeper Javi Varas off his line and not protecting the near post, curled a beauty in on goal in the 70th minute.
The keeper somehow kept the ball out but only Messi could attempt something so outrageous.
He may not have been successful this time, but we all know it would not have come as a surprise if the ball had gone in.
