McGrath lauded Anderson's mental resolution and dedication towards the game while also challenging him to cross the 600-wicket mark.
Mohammed Shami became Anderson's 564th wicket that took McGrath off the top perch while England went on to claim the 5th Test at the Oval by 118 runs and the series by 4-1 margin.

Speaking to BBC, McGrath said that Anderson looks fit enough to even go reach 600 wickets, an 'incredible' milestone that he has the drive and passion to achieve.

As far as beating Kumble is concerned, McGrath believes it's fairly possible for Anderson.
