After Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni had clobbered the English bowlers, the hosts overcame the visitors in the 3rd T20I in Bengaluru.
India beat England by 75 runs to clinch the 3-match series 2-1. This is India's second biggest win in terms of runs behind their 90-run win against the same opponents in the 2012 World T20.

Needing 203 to win, England lost Sam Billings early to Yuzvendra Chahal. Jason Roy was going great guns before Amit Mishra removed him for 32.
The asking rate was going up and while England tried to keep up they could not manage to go over the line.

The victory meant that Virat Kohli won his first T20I series as full-time skipper and this means England failed to win the rubber in any of the formats on their India tour.

Yuzvendra Chahal led the way for India with 6/25. He became the first Indian bowler to take five wickets in a T20I. England lost their way in the second half of the innings as wickets began to tumble. They collapsed from 119/2 to 127 all out and the match was no longer a contest from there on in.

Chahal became the 2nd bowler to take 6 wickets in a T20I and the 3rd instance of it happening. Ajantha Mendis has done it twice. He has the third best bowling figures in T20Is. He more than made up for missing a simple run out of Jason Roy early in the innings.?
