Ravichandran Ashwin has impressed one and all with his rise as a batsman in recent days. None more so than former skipper Sourav Ganguly.

Ganguly was happy with the way Ashwin batted against England in Mohali, particularly the way he too charge once Virat Kohli fell at a critical juncture of the match.

The 30-year-old went on to make 72 before departing early on the 3rd Day. His contribution ensured that India were able to take the lead against England.
Ganguly felt that the way Ashwin batted, the top order players would do well to learn from him.?
