Suresh Raina once again missed out as he was ignored for the Champions Trophy in June.
The southpaw has not played for India in ODIs since October 2015.

He was clearly hurt at not being considered.
¡°What can I say now? It¡¯s really disappointing and hurting. I was expecting a comeback call this time,¡± Raina said while speaking to Hindustan Times.

¡°I have been performing well and consistently, proving myself in the ongoing IPL season. Certainly, it is not on the expected lines but I would let my bat do the talking as I am sure of my comeback in the Indian squad one day,¡± he added.
Raina is currently in charge of Gujarat Lions in the ongoing IPL. He has been in good form and one hopes to see him in national colours pretty soon.

Hailed as one of the best finishers in the game, Raina is also a great fielder. For Team India he remains an utility player and if he gets the opportunity, will certainly look to make it count.
