Azam had won consecutive British Open titles between 1959 and 1961. He had tested positive and died at London's Ealing Hospital at the age of 95.?
Younger brother of Hashim Khan who is no less of a legend, Azam is considered one of the best players of squash. He left the sport due to a Achilles tendon injury and his 14-year-old son's tragic death in 1962.?
Despite recovering from the injury in a couple of years, he could not take up the game as he was haunted by his son's death.?
