Tiffany Stratton shocked the WWE Universe on the first episode of Friday Night SmackDown of 2025 by cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase to win the WWE Women's Championship. Stratton won her first WWE Women's Championship by turning on Nia Jax, who had just defended her belt against Naomi.
The first episode of SmackDown of 2025, which was also the first 3-hour-long show of the blue brand, saw Jax defend her championship against Naomi.
As the match progressed, Candice LeRae and Bianca Belair, who were at ringside supporting Jax and Naomi respectively, got involved.
Amid the chaos, Stratton also rushed to ringside with her Money in the Bank briefcase in one hand and a WWE referee in the other.
But instead of cashing in her briefcase, Stratton hit Naomi with it on the head, allowing Jax to pick up the win and retain her championship.
This was then followed by more chaos as Jax began beating down Naomi and Belair, with help from Stratton and LeRae.
But things took yet another unexpected turn after Stratton hit Jax, who was on the second rope for an An-Nia-Lator, with her briefcase.
A stunned Jax was then taken out with a KOD by Belair, after which Stratton cashed in her MITB to pick up an easy pinfall victory.
