Iyo Sky defeated Rhea Ripley on the latest episode of WWE Raw to win the Women’s World Championship on the road to WrestleMana 41. This means that, as things stand, she is slated to defend the gold against Bianca Belair– who won the Women’s Elimination Chamber match– at the ‘Show of Shows’.?

However, as is often the case in WWE, things may change leading up to WrestleMania 41. As such, there is a possibility of the Japanese star not making it to the Premium Live Event (PLE) as the reigning champ. Alternatively, she may also find herself in a Triple Threat match. Let’s analyse what may happen in the weeks ahead based on the events that unfolded tonight.?

Iyo Sky to take on Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley in a Triple Threat match at WrestleMania 41?

Rhea Ripley defended the World title against Iyo Sky in a compelling contest on the March 3 edition of Raw. ‘The Nightmare’ relied on her size advantage to overpower her foe. However, Sky responded by attacking her arm/shoulder. After several twists and turns, the Japanese star? beat Ripley to secure the title. The match, however, had its share of controversies. In a dramatic moment, ‘The Nightmare’ confronted Bianca Belair– who was ringside– for supporting her rival. This led to a physical altercation between them. Following this, Ripley taunted Belair before trying to finish off Iyo Sky. The move backfired as Sky countered her offence and picked up the win.?

Bianca Belair’s confrontation with Ripley suggests that her issues with ‘The Eradicator’ are far from over. Given this, the women are expected to clash in the weeks to come. WWE might add Ripley to the WrestleMania if they want to make it even more action-packed and star-studded. The creative can do so, by having ‘The Nightmare’ use her rematch clause at WrestleMania to transform the scheduled bout into a Triple-threat affair.?

This can happen if Ripley uses the rematch clause on an episode of Raw and goes on to beat Iyo Sky to regain the title.
