Roman Reigns returned to WWE programming on this week¡¯s episode of Raw and destroyed CM Punk and Seth Rollins. This was his first appearance since Royal Rumble 2025 where ¡®The Architect¡¯ attacked him after? ¡®The Best in the World¡¯ eliminated them from the titular match. Going by the events of tonight¡¯s Raw, the three men are expected to lock horns in a triple threat match at WrestleMania 41. However, there is a distinct possibility of a WWE veteran betraying the? ¡®Tribal Chief¡¯ on the road to the ¡®Show of Shows¡¯. In fact, the the seeds the for it may already have been planted
Seth Rollins and CM Punk tore the house down at Madison Square Garden tonight in a ¡®Steel Cage Match¡¯. They hit each other with their signature/finishing moves but failed to get the job done.?
They then hurled profanities at each other. Each man went on to show the other the middle finger. The match, however, ended on a shocking note as Roman Reigns returned to WWE programming and dragged Rollins out of the cage. In doing so, he accidentally gave him the win.? The former ¡®Big Dog¡¯ then beat the living daylights out of him. Reigns soon turned his attention to Punk and caught Paul Heyman, his wiseman, attending to his former client. Following this, he decimated Punk to close the show.?
Heyman¡¯s concern for Punk suggests that he may eventually turn to Reigns and reunite with ¡®The Best in the World¡¯. If this happens before WrestleMania 41, it could change the very dynamics of the fed and help the former AEW star even the odds against the former members of the Shield, especially if they decide to gang up on him. This scenario, however, is purely hypothetical right now.?
Interestingly, Heyman is no stranger to betraying his clients. Over two decades ago, he backstabbed Brock Lesnar and aligned with The Big Show.? Additionally, in 2013, he betrayed Punk in the Money In The Bank event.? Going by his past, another betrayal can't be ruled out.
Paul Heyman has been an integral part of the pro wrestling landscape since the 1990s. He is known for his impeccable mic skills, which help him get his clients over with the crowd. Heyman has been associated with WCW, ECW and the WWE in his illustrious career. He has also managed the likes of Punk, Brock Lesnar, and Rob Van Dam.
