Amazon Scam of 2025:?With instances of scams on well-known e-commerce platforms, 2025 has presented additional difficulties for online customers. Much attention has been drawn to a recent incident involving a user on platform X, formerly known as Twitter. The consumer reported that after replacing their OnePlus 10 Pro on Amazon, they had problems receiving their OnePlus 13. The customer is upset that the promised product never arrived, even though they followed the instructions to complete the transaction. They advise people to exercise caution while making purchases online. The dependability of delivery services and exchanges on well-known e-commerce sites is questioned. It serves as a warning to customers to confirm sellers' legitimacy and policies before making any online transactions.
?An X user alerted the world's top e-commerce site, Amazon, to a mobile exchange scam. Amazon SCAM of 2025: Why You Shouldn't Exchange Your Phone on Amazon was the topic of a post on X by the user (@_techibee). Instead of visiting the official stores and websites to exchange the OnePlus 10 Pro, he said in the thread that he purchased the OnePlus 13 via Amazon to have it delivered the same day, saving INR 21,000.
Amazon informed him that the delivery agent attempted to reach him but was unable. The merchandise was scheduled for delivery on January 10, 2025. The user reported that the same issue occurred on the second day, even after calling the customer, and the company once more advised waiting a whole day. The user claimed that Amazon delivery workers are not taught to evaluate the quality of phones when picked up and that the cost of repairs would be subtracted from their pay if the phone had problems.
