The party¡¯s over guys, and Reliance Jio¡¯s ¡®Happy New Year¡¯ offer expires March 31. That means no more free unlimited data, unless you cough up the dough for a Prime membership. However, there is a way you can get that for almost free.
The newly introduced Jio Prime membership plan allows users to extend the Happy New Year offer for a year. It requires paying Rs 99 as a subscription fee, as well as a monthly Rs 303 for unlimited data (28 GB), capped at 1GB per day.
However, there¡¯s a legal way to bypass that subscription fee entirely and retain the benefits of the extended offer provided by Jio Prime. Download the JioMoney Wallet app and register yourself, then set a four-digit security pin. Once done, purchase the Rs 99 Jio Prime membership, which will give you Rs 50 cashback as part of the company¡¯s introductory offer.
Now, what¡¯s important is that JioMoney also offers a Rs 50 cashback on recharges of Rs 303 and above. So what you need to do is immediately pay the subscription fee for the first month (Rs 303) and the total resulting cashback will now balance the amount you paid for Jio Prime. Just take note, cashback money is refunded within two working days, and as vouchers within the JioMoney app, not literal cash.
Additionally, users can added benefits by using Paytm to recharge their Jio accounts. You can get cashback on every Jio recharge through the app, including a Rs 10 cashback on subscribing to the Rs 99 Jio Prime plan, with the promo code JioPrime.
Aside from that, users can also use the code PrimeJio to get Rs 30 off on up to two recharges of the Rs 303 plan, Rs 150 cashback on the purchase of two movie tickets (on every recharge), as well as a free Jio add-on pack worth Rs 201 (on every recharge).
The last day to purchase a Prime membership is March 31, following which you may be required to pay a larger amount. If you recharge with Rs 303 till March 31, you also get a data booster of 5GB worth Rs 201 free!
