Apple has confirmed that it has suspended all product sales from its online stores in Russia, disabling the Russian population from purchasing iPads, iPhones and other Mac products.

Today if someone from Russia tries to place an order, the site would offer an error, ¡®delivery unavailable¡¯, result popping up.?
This move comes after several American-based tech giants suspended their services in the nation. The shutdown of sales has been suspended after a plea last week from Ukrainian vice prime minister Mykhailo Fedorov, who wrote a letter to Apple CEO Tim Cook, asking Apple to stop device sales and block access to Apple store in Russia.?
¡°I appeal to you and I am sure you will not only hear, but also do everything possible to protect Ukraine, Europe, and finally, the entire democratic world from bloody authoritarian aggression - to stop supplying Apple services and products to the Russian Federation, including blocking access to App Store! We are sure that such actions will motivate youth and active population of Russia to proactively stop the disgraceful military aggression.¡±
Apple in a statement announced that it has also stopped all exports into the sales channel in Russia as well as disabled traffic and live incidents in its Maps.
Apple said, ¡°We are deeply concerned about the Russian invasion of Ukraine and stand with all of the people who are suffering as a result of the violence. We are supporting humanitarian efforts, providing aid for the unfolding refugee crisis, and doing all we can to support our teams in the region. We have taken a number of actions in response to the invasion. We have paused all product sales in Russia. Last week, we stopped all exports into our sales channel in the country.¡±

It added that Apple Pay and other services have been limited. Moreover, Russian state media RT News and Sputnik News are no longer available for download from the App Store outside Russia.?
