This momentous feat was achieved at 10:54 AM ET (Eastern Time) when Tesla¡¯s shares spiked 5.65 percent -- around 42.75 points at $798.73.
The reason contributing to?Elon Musk¡¯s exponential rise in being the worlds richest is the positive track of Tesla¡¯s stocks. Musk has a 20 percent stake in the electric car company. This is according to Daniel Ives, an analyst with Wedbush Securities who feels that a Democrat senate is bullish for the electric vehicle sector with environment-friendly agendas on the table.?
Ives predicts vehicle tax credits on electric vehicles which could further help Tesla in taking a stronger grip in the US car market.
