It is no secret that the iPhone today possesses some of the best optics on a smartphone. Even its cheapest offering in the series (which albeit is still crazy expensive) offers a camera array that captures stunning images.?
And to celebrate this love for photography on iPhone, every year, Apple announces its Shot On iPhone series of images which it curates based on people sharing their best shot images.?
This year, the Shot On iPhone was specifically focussed on images captured on its latest and most feature-loaded iPhone -- the iPhone 12 series. Apple said, ¡°photographers around the world are using iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max to capture stunning images of cityscapes, landscapes, people, and more, from day to night.¡±
Apple received submissions from a variety of users around the globe -- from nations like China, Kuwait, the US, Thailand and one of these breathtaking images is from India.?
The image doesn't have any description except for the device name (which was iPhone 12 Pro Max) on which the image was captured as well as the photographer¡¯s name, Rohit Vohra.?
The image is a clear example of how accurate the device¡¯s portrait mode and HDR is in delivering DSLR-level images through its novel camera system.?
iPhone 12 Pro Max also has the best and most feature-loaded camera setup among all the iPhone 12¡¯s in the market. You get a quad-camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary shooter with an f/1.6, 26mm aperture that also features dual pixel PDAF, sensor-shift stabilization (IBIS).?
The second camera is a 12-megapixel telephoto shooter, with f/2.2, phase-detect autofocus, and standard OIS. Third, is another 12-megapixel shooter with f/2.4 aperture with a 120-degree ultra-wide lens and the fourth camera is a TOF 3D LiDAR scanner for depth calculation and better focusing, even in low-light conditions.
