The COVID-19 pandemic has truly altered our lives today. With many people still working from home, cities have gradually started unlocking despite the rising number of cases, some things cannot go back to normal just yet -- like movie theatres, restaurants and even schools -- at least until we get our hands on a vaccine that can put an end to this pandemic.
Even though it's okay to wait for restaurants or movies to run like it used to,? what cannot be put on hold is kids¡¯ education, which is why teachers and students are now studying from their home with the help of video conferencing tools.?
However, this shift hasn¡¯t been comfortable for neither kids nor teachers as most teachers who aren¡¯t tech-savvy have to now learn new things to help teach kids. But despite these challenges, many teachers have been pushing their limit to continue teaching from home, amidst other challenges. And this story of this teacher¡¯s creativity to make studying from home convenient is inspiring, to say the least.
The post, shared on LinkedIn, by Mohamed Mazher shows how his wife asked him to order a tripod for him, but he forgot to do that, ¡°She asked me to get a tripod for her to take classes. I forgot to order. And see what she has done.¡±
Instead of waiting for her order, she actually went ahead and fabricated one with things she had around her room. Using an Amazon delivery box as a base she inserted a plastic ventilation pipe on top.?
From the looks of it, it seems like she cut grooves in the top part of the pipe to help it hold the phone, and voila, a DIY tripod was made to save the day.?
This simple yet effective fabrication has won lots of love and appreciation from other LinkedIn users around the world.
There were also many who were asking the husband if he ended up ordering the tripod after all. To which he had a rather hilarious response.
More power to you Mrs Mazher!
