Interestingly, the buzz is not just about the iPhones, as Apple made it a point that it pushed in catchy highlights in between the launches of subsequent iPhone models. HomePod Mini, a Siri-powered home assistant like Amazon Alexa or Google Home, is one of them. Its plan for ¡°net zero climate impact¡± by 2030 is another.
It is, however, the latter that caught everyone's attention and has everyone talking about it, surprisingly, not for the good. That is because in the name of saving the environment, Apple managed to leave iPhone 12 buyers bereft of one thing - a charger.
Here are some of the reactions of the people on the move - with most of them being mad on the no-charger-in-the-box policy.?Then of course, the memes cannot be far behind in such a case.
That seems to be the natural succession. Bigger question, will it be called the iPhone 22?
But if we all had to choose one, we know what we will get.??
Headphones, who ever thought of that? As for the charger, now that's a serious heartbreak.
?No one is liking this. Is anyone at Apple reading this??
?This one seems to have given up. One less iPhone 12 customer?
?Seems like the cost of saving the environment just went up, even for your phone.
?Apple could have made it a USB type-C and everyone would have gone home with the new iPhones happy. But no, you WILL NEED to buy an iPhone charger, Separately please!
?That is because the charger wasn't in the box. Probably your mother's that you use?
What do you think of Apple's decision to completely discontinue including the charging adapter and earphones from all new iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max boxes??
Do you really think it's going to help save e-waste pile up in the near future, because of all the wasted chargers and earphones thrown away any way?
