Apple's latest software update is causing heating issues for some users. iOS 16.4.1 was launched on April 7, 2023 and now many Apple users are complaining of heat problems.
Many iPhone users who updated to the latest iOS version are reporting heating issues. But this problem is limited to users who charge their iPhones wirelessly. Even then, iPhone users should upgrade their devices to the latest iOS version for it has numerous security fixes.
A ZDNet report highlighted how iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Mac are experiencing heating issues and crashing after upgrading to iOS 16.4.1. After wireless charging, the device touched temperatures of 39.1 degree Celsius.

The iOS 16.4.1 addresses two high-risk vulnerabilities - CVE-2023-28205 and CVE-2023-28206, according to Apple's release notes. Apple said that these security flaws may have been exploited by threat actors.
One of these vulnerabilities affects the Safari browser on iPhones through malicious content. Another flaw affects an iOS framework that could be exploited to execute a code on a user's iPhone and take control of the device.

Besides these security fixes, the iOS update also came with a Siri bug fix that caused it to become unresponsive, in addition to emoji additions that may be accessed on the company's release notes.?
