National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is set to launch its own streaming service. Yep, you read that right. The American space agency is currently trying to revamp its online presence through a new streaming service and new website designs.
On Thursday, the space agency released a trailer for the NASA+ streaming service. The service will be available for free via the official NASA app on iOS and Android. NASA+ will also be available on Fire TV and on the web across desktop and mobile devices.
The ad-free service will offer access to NASA's live coverage that may be currently found on the NASA Live website. In addition, NASA+ will also broadcast original video series about NASA's space missions, along with new content.
"We¡¯re putting space on demand and at your fingertips with NASA¡¯s new streaming platform," NASA¡¯s Marc Etkind said in a release. "Transforming our digital presence will help us better tell the stories of how NASA explores the unknown in air and space, inspires through discovery, and innovates for the benefit of humanity."
Early access to the beta website is available to users right now. Users can also submit feedback to make the website better looking and more usable before it is launched publicly.
