The much-awaited Xiaomi Redmi K20 and K20 Pro are finally here. The Redmi K20 is priced at Rs 21,999 for the 6GB/64GB variant and Rs Rs 23,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant. The Redmi K20 Pro, on the other hand is priced at Rs 27,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant and Rs 30,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant.
The devices will go for pre-order starting tomorrow at Mi Home and open for sale for everyone else on 22nd July 2019 on Mi.com, Flipkart as well as Mi Home stores across the country.
Both, the Redmi K20 and the K20 Pro sport a 6.3-inch bezel-less AMOLED FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 403ppi. The display is completely bezel-less and notch-less with a 91.9 screen to body ratio, delivering an immersive viewing experience. The display also gets HDR support and DCI-P3 colour gamut for a vibrant viewing experience.
The one place where the devices differ is performance. Under the hood, The Redmi K20 Pro is rocking Qualcomm¡¯s flagship-grade Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor (As seen on the OnePlus 7) with Adreno 640GPU. It is paired with 6GB/8GB RAM with 128GB/256GB storage variants.?
The Redmi K20 on the other hand, is rocking the newly unveiled Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 octa-core processor (2.2 GHz, Dual core, Kryo 470 + 1.8 GHz, Hexa Core, Kryo 470) along with Adreno 618GPU that can play PUBG and Fortnite smoothly. The processor is paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB storage variants.
At the back, both the devices get a triple camera setup with a 48-megapixel (Sony IMX586 on the Redmi K20 Pro, IMX582 on the Redmi K20) primary camera at f/1.8, with support for PDAF as well as Laser AF. The second camera is an 8-megapixel sensor at f/2.4 and 2x optical zoom. The third is an 124-degree ultra-wide camera with a 13-megapixel sensor at f/2.4. For selfies, you get a pop-up 20-megapixel shooter for crispy selfies.
Powering both the Redmi K20 and the K20 Pro is a 4000mAh battery. However, there is a slight alteration with the charging configuration. Redmi K20 Pro gets 27W Fast-Charging capabilities (58 percent battery in 30 minutes charge), whereas the regular K20 just gets the standard 18W Fast-Charging.?
Both the devices are running on Android Pie 9.0 with Xiaomi¡¯s custom MIUI skin on top.?

The Redmi K20 stands to compete against Realme X, which was recently unveiled in India, among other leading smartphones in the category.
