Reported first by Vice, the metaverse is working on a feature dubbed ¡®Live Forever¡¯ that will allow people to have their movements and conversations stored as data which is then replicated as an avatar that talks and moves like the scanned individual.?
Somnium Space essentially wishes to allow individuals to talk with their loved ones in the metaverse. This is based off the incredible data-collection potential of VR -- it can collect info on how the fingers move, the way the eyes twitch and the whole body, creating precise fingerprints along the way.?
The startup has also partnered with a company dubbed ¡®Teslasuit¡¯ that offers haptic feedback for the entire body, that¡¯s similar to that of a human touch, while also offering extra data thanks to a medical-grade biometric scanner that collects cardio and stress levels.?

The data is also able to collect the way an individual speaks, the intonation etc, and the end result will be absolutely convincing.?
Its creator, Artur Sychov, in a conversation with Vice, is of the feature will be off by default and won¡¯t collect user data unless the user decides to opt for it. Early adopters were charged as little as $50 for the whole year, although according to Sychov, with intensive costs of data storage, this price might rise in the future.?
