Leaving your pet at home while you go to work can be heartbreaking. Well, at least if you have a dog. Anything other than a cat anyway, they really couldn't give a damn. But why leave your pet to their own devices when you can put a device in charge of them?
That's the idea behind Petbot. It's basically a little plastic proxy for you to interact with your pet remotely when you're not at home. It comes with a Petbot App on Android and iOS that you can use to control it.
The Petbot lets you watch your pet and snap photos of them through the app using the built-in HD camera, and you can talk to your doggo or whatnot with two-way audio. There's also a little storage bin you can put pet treats in, and physically toss them to your critter at the touch of a button.?
Also built in is a laser you can use to play with your pet and get them to chase. Most of all though, the Petbot is mounted on a set of wheels, letting you drive around the house after your munchkin.
It is a little pricey though, about $249.99 or Rs 17,800. You can however opt for the Petcube, a stationary version of the same device. It's got all the features except it doesn't let you follow your pet around the house like the worst kind of helicopter parent.
But hey, you can't put a price on knowing your pet is safe and happy at home when you're gone right?
