The three new WhatsApp web features include the ability to edit photos, preview links, and sticker suggestions.?Announced by WhatsApp via Twitter, the company claims that these changes on its web client are being rolled out to change the way users interact with each other on the platform.
?With the new photo editing features, users will be able to add stickers/text to their images while cropping and rotating the pics as per their whims - on all screen sizes.
?Besides adding more image-editing functionality, WhatsApp web now has inbuilt sticker suggestions (akin to how emoji suggestions). If your preferred language of WhatsApp communication is stickers, you'll appreciate the feature. "It¡¯s just like emoji suggestions but better," WhatsApp announced.
?Do you dread sending links that don't generate previews? Worry not, WhatsApp is extending link previews to its web clients. "Now you¡¯ll know what you¡¯re clicking into. Share news, videos, or that fun Tweet, sneak peek included," WhatsApp said on Twitter.
?This is part of WhatsApp's improvement programme. The company said on Twitter that it has made a series of of changes over the last few months to accomodate "feature requests" and to provide the "best experience" even as privacy and safety concerns around Facebook products continue to mount.
