A lot of people don't like having sex. Yes folks, it's entirely normal! An abstinent woman from the United States, Shakia Seabrook has created the no-sex equivalent of Tinder and Bumble called "The Sexless Tribe."
While asexuality is considered the lack of sexual attraction to other human beings, Seabrook's no-sex dating app is driven not by sexuality, but may be rooted in the Christian concept of abstinence, which urges people to only have sex after marriage.?
According to The Daily Mail, the 33-year-old Seabrook claims that she created the app after God "called to her" last year. Seabrook chose the route of abstinence when she was 13-years-old and believe The Sexless Tribe is not just a typical dating app, for it offers abstinent people a change "come together and connect."

The app currently has 8,000 subscribers and a growing community of no sex practicing netizens. Initially, Seabrook didn't think abstinence was her "calling" but decided to pursue it "full throttle" after "God just kept showing" her the way.
The Sexless Tribe is made up of two spaces: a source of resources full of abstinence material and a Tinder-style social set-up where members of the community can create accounts and interact with each other.

The app has a very scripture-based understanding of its audience. Every day, the users receive an encouraging quote to practice abstinence. In addition, the app sends out a "late-night check-in" to hold users accountable. Each month, the app also hosts Zoom meetings for the abstinent community.
Currently, the platform is in beta mode. And Seabrook says it's not a "Christian app," but in fact a space for anybody who practices the abstinence lifestyle.?
