Rejoice, YouTubers - the video player on world's most used video streaming app is now getting a new look. The new interface is available for both iOS and Android apps and will make navigation on the video easier.
The refreshed interface for videos on YouTube will help make it easier to see comments, like or dislike a video, and to share a clip. Earlier, these features were tucked down into a swipe-up gesture. The new interface recentres these features for easier access.
Mind you, though - these changes only become apparent when you're watching in full screen aka landscape mode. If you're watching a video in portrait mode on YouTube, things will pretty much look the same.

Most users ended up watching in portrait mode because it made access to in-app features more convenient. Remember how you had to press back to see comments or to share the link of a YouTube clip? Gone are the days. These new update should let you do those things even in full screen mode.
Most users usually end up reading the comments. If you're like us, then viewing comments just got easier in landscape mode.?
