Once every few months we hear Elon MuskĄ¯s SpaceX launches and deploys batches of Starlink satellites, with the goal of creating a constellation of satellites offering high-speed satellite internet to regions that are disconnected from the world.

And now, Nihal Amin, a 26-year-old Management Consultant with a hobby for astrophotography from Karnataka, India, has managed to capture the constellation of deployed Starlink satellites blink and glow.
The video, dated December 20, shows a strain of glowing lights flyby behind a jet black starry night. They were captured at Padukere Beach in Udupi at about 7:15 PM last night.
The video shows the satellites moving in a straight line, as if they were together a long stick, with blinky lights making for a truly mesmerizing sight.

According to a Reddit post, the satellites, based on their altitude of 340-1150 kilometres, are travelling at an approximate speed of 7.70 kilometres per second (orbits every 91 minutes) and 7.28 kilometres per second (orbits every 108 minutes).
Amin, who is also an IIM Ahmedabad alumni, has been actively capturing the cosmos since 2014 and his Instagram account shows some really breathtaking shots captured by him.?

Starlink is already working on expanding its operations in India, by launching the India division of Starlink, and are already in talks with the government to deploy satellite internet in rural India as early as December 2022.
