Would you let your aeroplane seat zap you with electricity? For good reasons, of course!
In 2016, Brazilian aerospace company Embraer filed a patent application for a "brain stimulation system to provide a sense of wellbeing," and it was granted last year. The Verge recently dug out the company's patented work. You'll love this one if you find yourself anxious on aeroplanes with no where to go!
Embraer's anti-anxiety paraphernalia comes with a digital camera that scans the face of a passenger in a vehicle seat to gauge their facial expression. Based on this, the goal is to understand the passenger's emotions.

Then, an interface can offer an anxious passenger some transcranial stimulation, including electricity-based direct current stimulation, magnetic stimulation, and pulsed ultrasound. Simply put, if you're anxious on a plane and this software catches it, it would make you calm down through stimulation.
Many doctors swear by electric or magnetic stimulation as a viable treatment for depression and for many other mental health conditions, including Alzheimer's. This technique is non-invasive, like the patent that wants to zap you with electricity to ease anxiety.
