House rats might be a common feature in the hills. Even an occasional wild raccoon sighting is something people living high up are used to but have you ever imagined how things would go down if a large black bear appeared out of nowhere on your property?
A newly viral video on Reddit captured just that. The bear was captured on video as it came out of its hibernation from under a shaft at a hill house. The people taking the video waited patiently as the bear wiggled out of the small space. A man is heard warning others in the clip, ¡°Wait till he gets all the way out.¡±?
As the bear takes its time coming out of the hole, the man encourages it by whispering softly, ¡°Okay, go on.¡± After the bear gets ready to go its own way, away from civilization, the residents ¡°blast¡± it with an air horn in order to scare away the massive beast.

The video impressed many on the Internet as it garnered over 15k upvotes on Reddit. Meanwhile, users had fun with the clip as one wrote, ¡°He looked around and wasn't impressed¡± while another added, ¡°Two-star rating on AirBear¡¯nB.¡± A user pointed out how the bear still looked dazed after its long nap, ¡°Aaww man, should have given it a chance to wake up. It still had sleepy bedroom eyes.¡± Yet another user wrote, ¡°They¡¯re sort of cute before they scalp you and bite your skull."
Among the funny comments was a gentleman who explained why the bear was not entirely dangerous. He wrote: ¡°Those are black bears. They¡¯re usually harmless. Unless mama bear/cubs blah blah blah. This one looks old af but it¡¯s a big boy.¡± Another fellow shared, ¡°Its insane how these creatures look like cuddly cartoons but if given the chance they will literally eat you alive.¡±
