Although BTS star V is currently serving in the military and away from the public eye, his fans continue to eagerly await updates about him. Recently, a new photo of the singer has taken social media by storm, showing him dressed in his military uniform.

Although the new picture of V in his military uniform recently surfaced on social media, fans have analyzed that it's actually an old photo. After careful examination, they noticed that the badge on his uniform shows only 2 stripes, whereas his current badge has 3 stripes. Furthermore, the viral photo features V with short hair, whereas his hair appeared longer during a recent appearance, suggesting that the picture may have been taken around the time of his enlistment.

Kim Taehyung completes winter training

The Rainy Days singer recently successfully completed a grueling winter military training program. The training, which took place from January 6th to 17th, pushed the K-pop superstar to his limits, with temperatures plummeting to -20°C.

The final day of the training was particularly challenging, requiring soldiers, including Taehyung, to march 40 kilometers while carrying heavy gear weighing between 25 kg and 40 kg.

After V completed his military training, he was seen celebrating with his military friends, clicking pictures and videos. He also took to his Instagram stories to share his current playlist with fans, including Stay a Little Longer off BLACKPINK member Rosé's latest album, Rosie.

When will BTS V return from the military?

V is anticipated to return from his military service in June 2025, after enlisting in December 2023. He and fellow member RM began their military service on December 11. As per South Korea's mandatory military service requirement, which applies to all men under the age of 30, the seven members of BTS have been fulfilling their duties. While Jin and J-Hope have already returned after completing their service, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook's return this summer will mark the reunion of all seven members. Suga, meanwhile, has been serving as a public service agent.
