The Chrono Odyssey closed beta test is now underway, letting early access players step into the world of Setera. The test started on June 20 and runs until June 22. Players lucky enough to receive access can now explore the MMO game*s world, Setera, and experience its action-focused combat, class-swapping system, and time-based powers.?
Players can choose from servers across three major regions: Asia, Europe, and North America. Each region has six servers, and testers can create multiple characters during this closed beta window. However, teaming up with friends requires you to be on the same server and region to play together.?
The test is meant to showcase gameplay mechanics, check server load, and gather feedback before launch. However, the early beta phase has gone downhill for the MMO title.?
Shortly after launch, the team shared an update confirming problems currently affecting the experience of several invited players. On social media, they posted:
※Please be informed of some issues present during the Closed Beta. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and appreciate your patience. We are currently investigating the cause, and any update will be shared through the above notice.§
?This means that while the game is playable, some bugs and performance issues might interrupt gameplay for now. The developers have promised that fixes are on the way and will be shared through their official channels.
For now, testers are encouraged to report issues and follow updates closely while enjoying their first look at what the Chrono Studio team has in store.
If you have signed up through Steam, check your email inbox for a beta invite. Access is being rolled out in phases to avoid queue overload and ensure a stable experience. So even if you haven*t received one yet, you might still get it during the weekend.?
Once you receive the invite, you can preload Chrono Odyssey via Steam. The game*s beta client is available for download now, and you can start playing immediately after installation.?
Chrono Odyssey*s closed beta will run until Sunday, June 22, at 11:59 PM PDT. If you*ve received your invite, you can still preload and jump in. Just expect some hiccups while the team works in the background.
