The shocking video is doing rounds on social media, where the singer, who has been exploring India between concerts, decided to surprise his fans by setting up an impromptu performance on Bengaluru Street, but suddenly the performance was cut short by the police officials present there.?
Unfortunately, the short, sweet moment for fans unexpectedly turned into an embarrassment for Ed Sheeran, as cops stepped in between the performance.
In the viral video, the singer is seen wearing a casual white t-shirt and green shorts and holding his guitar in his arms. The singer was about to perform his global hit 'Shape of You' when the authorities stepped in and unplugged the PA system.?
However, his other team members are seen insisting to the police officials that they had been granted permission for the brief street performance; despite this, the officials denied it and asked them to shut down the show.?
As soon as the 1.5-minute clip surfaced on the internet, the abrupt action of the police left the fans in shock. One wrote, 'Can't believe this!'

However, he announced an additional concert date for Bengaluru because of the overwhelming demand for the tickets.
