Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve and National Park, is one of the the most popular national parks in India, located in the Vindhya Hills of the Umaria district in Madhya Pradesh.
It has a large population of tigers, and amid all the depressing news related to COVID-19, the official page of the Bandhavgarh Reserve took to Twitter to announce that they have welcomed six new tigers and three new leopard cubs to their present population.
Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve tweeted, ¡®Good news!!Bandhavgarh is now home to 6 new tiger cubs and 3 new leopard cubs! We welcome them to the paradise!¡¯.?According to their website, Bandhavgarh National Park was declared a national park in 1968. It is spread across an area of 105 km?.?
It's one of the places that have the highest density of tiger population in India. Similarly, the park also houses a large breeding population of leopards and various species of deer.
