The Michelin Guide's official website characterises Garima's restaurant as "traditional on the outside and contemporary on the inside." "Gaa's location mirrors chef Garima Arora's exquisite cooking: old-school at heart, transformed with modern techniques and presentation," says the press release.
The tasting menu at the restaurant features Chef Garima's "reinterpretations of street food snacks." Her cooking is described in the guide as "assured, understated, and skilful." The guide also praises her culinary creations for their "finely judged spicing, extraordinary flavour combinations, and contrasts in texture and temperature."
When did the restaurant open?
Garima opened Gaa, a three-story restaurant in Bangkok, in 2017. At Gaa, she expertly integrates traditional Indian cooking methods with contemporary tasting menus to produce a delectable symphony of flavours that captivates customers. Gaa's dedication and artistic talent were recognized in November 2018 when she was awarded a well-deserved Michelin Star.?
