The teaser for the music video for the new song Good Day 2025 was unveiled on April 15. It revealed a star-studded lineup which is set to perform a vibrant remake that fuses "Telepathy" and "By the Moon Lighted Window." Produced by G-Dragon, the project gathers an impressive mix of K-pop celebrities who joined the show's one-of-a-kind music-making adventure.
The music video boasts a diverse cast, featuring Jung Hyung Don, Lee Soo Hyuk, Hwang Jung Min, Kim Go Eun, Yim Si Wan, Kwanghee, Kian84, CODE KUNST, Defconn, Hong Jin Kyung, chef Ahn Sung Jae, 2NE1's CL, aespa, SEVENTEEN's BSS, DAY6, and fellow BIGBANG members Taeyang and Daesung.
In the preview, which MBC shared, G-Dragon, along with Cho Sae Ho, CODE KUNST, Yim Si Wan, Kwanghee, and Jung Hae In, gathered in the recording studio. G-Dragon stepped in first to record a demo version, prompting Kwanghee to excitedly comment, "It feels like we're on a music show!" He later added, "He's so good. He's a real artist."
The other celebrities took turns recording which was closely monitored by G-Dragon himself. He offered advice, particularly to Jung Hae In, on how to channel emotions while singing, comparing it to acting: "It's just like acting. You need to keep imagining."
It didn't take long for just a snippet of G-Dragon singing to go viral, especially on X (formerly known as Twitter). The clip quickly spread across K-pop fandoms, with many poking fun at the legend's voice.
It all began when one user, who posted the video wrote, "Is the world playing a prank on me right now? Is this actually supposed to be good?"
This led to the numerous comments and quotes to follow. One joked, "Need this man to share his Shaman's details with me, 'cause he obviously cast a spell on the whole country."
Another wrote, "This is what Koreans are gagging over???"
One added, "The bar is in hell for SK."
Another stated, "Nah, SK has to be under a spell, bruh ¡ª there¡¯s no way these mfs are gagging over this sht."
And one told, "Haein's reaction is my reaction as well."
Despite high expectations from the show before its premiere, Good Day ultimately wrapped up with its lowest viewership ratings. A major factor behind this disappointing outcome appears to be the controversy surrounding actor Kim Soo-hyun.?
Kim Soo-hyun landed himself in a controversy over allegations of having dated the late Kim Sae-ron when she was a minor and around 15 years old ¡ª from November 2015 to July 2021.?
