Tired of experiencing difficulties due to the increase in prices of 'Maggi' and her 'pencils,' a girl from Lucknow took it into her own hands to make her voice heard.?A six-year-old girl in class one has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the "hardship" she is experiencing due to rising prices.
In her letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Class 1 girl student tried to explain that she couldn't buy a packet of Maggi noodles simply because she only had five rupees with her, and the shopkeeper demanded seven rupees.
"My name is Kriti Dubey. I study in class 1. Modiji, you have caused an immense price rise. Even my pencil and rubber (eraser) have become costlier, and Maggi's price has also increased. My mother now beats me for asking for a pencil. What should I do? Other kids steal my pencil."
Her father, Vishal Dubey, who is an advocate, said,
"It is my daughter's Mann Ki Baat'. She got annoyed recently when her mother scolded her when she lost her pencil in school."
"I am ready to help the child in any way and will also try my best to ensure that her letter reaches concerned authorities," he said.
Last year, a 6-year-old girl from Jammu and Kashmir posted a video whining about the coronavirus pandemic's impact on online classes. She also mentioned homework and long classes.
Soon after the video went viral, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha declared that he had directed the school education department to issue a policy within 48 hours.
