Giving birth to a baby is one of the most difficult tasks a human can do. However, days spent with a little squishy baby afterward are surely a gift that makes it all worth it.
Well, while most women in their post-partum period have a lot to deal with, one mother was shocked and excited at the same time to see her newborn start crawling and lifting its head just 3 days after birth.
Normally, babies take some time before they get used to life outside their mother¡¯s womb. While some take time to even open their eyes, this baby on the internet has people gasping in shock. Samantha Elizabeth, the new mother, shared the clip of her newborn baby on Instagram after she was stunned by her actions.
In the clip, the baby is seen on what looks like a changing table. The 3-day-old baby attempts to lift its head up and is successful in doing so.?The child also crawls just a bit with the help of her hands and legs. Samantha posted the video and wrote in the caption, "I still can¡¯t believe this happened." She also explained in the captions on the video, "POV: Your daughter is 3 days old and she is lifting her head, crawling and talking."
In the background of the video, Samantha, who is taking the video, asks her own mom if the moment is even real. Her mother is also stunned by the baby¡¯s actions, and all she can say is that it is indeed not normal for the child to crawl and lift their head just 3 days after birth.
However, the moment, which Samantha thought was an exception, barely impressed the internet. Many people came forward in the comments to tell the new mom that it was apparently normal for children to move in such a wave as they look for food.
One user explained, ¡°It is absolutely normal, babies crawl up their mommy looking for food. Also, they can do this the minute they come out.¡± While another added, ¡°She's searching for her food. Babies do this right after they're born and they are placed directly on mom. It's normal and she's hungry.¡±
