On Monday, cops from Lumpini Police Station in Bangkok received a call about a fluffy pup roaming around in the area of ??the Life Wireless Condo, Witthayu Nuea Road.?

The cops rushed to the spot and started looking for its owner. After no one claimed the dog and the cops failed to trace the owner, they decided to bring it back to the police station.?The adorable puppy received a charge for 'getting lost.'?

Like cops would handle an actual suspect, they took a mugshot of the female puppy with a board that read: "Name: Golden Retriever" and "Charge: Getting lost."?

The board contained other details like the time when the dog was found and the name of the condominium so that tracing the owner could be easier.

Even though the furry friend was 'charged', the cops were so excited to have him at the station that they kept pampering him.?

From offering them treats to arranging a blanket for the pup, the cops pampered her in different ways.

The photos shared on Facebook show how the dog enjoyed all the pampering and sat comfortably wrapped in a blanket like a burrito!

According to Matichon, many people showed up and offered to volunteer and adopt the canine friend, but police decided to wait for the owner to claim him.?The cops have also agreed that if they fail to locate the owner in time, they will train her as the station canine or a K9.

Sharing the update, police even shared pictures of the happy reunion. The puppy belonged to a 24-year-old Chinese man, Gu Qin Yuan, who showed up to get his friend back. As proof, he even showed his pictures with the adorable pup.

The TNN Thailand report states that Gu Qin had taken his dog for a walk, but it started raining. He then made the puppy sit in his red backpack and placed it on the bench in a park. He then ran to buy food and an umbrella at a nearby convenience store.?

However, by the time Gu Qin returned, the naughty pup had disappeared by then.?A distressed Gu was set to file a police report, but thankfully, he saw the viral post on Facebook and rushed to claim his pup.

According to Police TV, the man said he was about to report to the police when he saw the photos of his puppy going viral.

A Khaosod English report claims the puppy has been accompanying Gu on a Thailand tour for four months, and the duo is set to return to their hometown in China after the country reopens after COVID-19.
