The viral video shows the Punjab-bound IndiGo flightĄ¯s first captain welcoming all the passengers onboard in Punjabi-English mix.
"Some tips by the Captain in a Punjabi English mix to passengers on flight Bangalore to Chandigarh," read the caption of the post.? ?
At first, the pilot was heard speaking in English. He said that during the flight, while passengers sitting on the left side would be able to show off their photography skills, people sitting on the right would, meanwhile, see Hyderabad.
He then spoke in Punjabi and said later, passengers on left would see Jaipur, while the other side would be able to see Bhopal.??
The pilot also joked that people sitting on the aisle seat can only turn left and right and look at each other. This left passengers in splits. "Lesson learnt is what? Take a window seat," the captain jokingly added.?
He then went on to give a special mention to all passengers from defence, para-military and veterans onboard. He even urged people to keep their masks on and remain seated until the plane lands in Chandigarh.??

First Officer Pradeep Padmashali, surprised the flyers on December 24 onboard?flight?number 6E 6051.?The flight was on its way from Mumbai to Mangaluru. The announcement came in just before it departed Mumbai.?
In the clip, Padmashali welcomed onboard the passengers and wished them a comfortable journey during the trip which was to take an hour and five minutes. He then switched to English and also informed the passengers that it was his mother tongue 'Tulu', which was spoken in Dakshina Kannada.??
A social media user shared the clip online and expressed his delight on hearing an announcement in Tulu, Ą°We usually hear pilots making announcements in Hindi and English. It was really nice to hear something in Tulu.Ą°
