With the lockdown in place, the world is in dire need of good news. Tired of incidents that are making everyone extremely upset around the globe, this wedding photography company decided to give people a reason to smile and what's better than that one feeling that makes people feel happy, no matter what??Love.
So, to pass around happy vibes, the team at Wedding Matinee decided to come up with a series of couple photo shoots which convey the power of love. However, with the need to practice social-distancing, it does sound like a task, right?
Well, guess what? Technology was the saviour here.
The artist behind the lens here is Delhi-based photographer Himanshu Sharma who captured the couple, Purnima and Avi using Facetime. He told Indiatimes,?"In these tough times, its difficult to keep your self sane with all the negativity?around. We, hence want to spread love and hope in our way by capturing couples in lock-down via Facetime and their story of how this is proving to be a positive?time for them!"
His message is simple: Lift people's spirits during these tough times and make them happy.
He captured the beautiful couple while on a Facetime call with them. From guiding them to what the mood is to how they should pose, he did it all from miles away. Since the couple is in lockdown on their own, there was no one else to hold the camera for them and yet, the photos have come out extremely mesmerising.?
An absolute delight to look at, the photographs show the couple living their daily life like they usually do inside their homes and nothing about the art is less than professional.?
Loving the experience, Purnima added,?"Use this time to talk about the insecurities and uncertainties. If you are newly married, no better time to know each other mentally! Live, laugh?and dance! Cook together and take thing lightly! There is always a brighter side of things."
In a span of two hours, the result was an absolutely mind-blowing?photo shoot,?and it drew the attention of more couples who want a similar experience.
