The man behind the viral video was none other than the woman¡¯s father who was seen walking out with her suitcase. Prem Gupta, a father from Jharkhand, posted the video on his social media to celebrate his daughter¡¯s freedom from a toxic home environment at her in-laws¡¯ house.
A year ago, Gupta had married off his daughter, Sakshi Gupta to an assistant engineer at Jharkhand Electricity Distribution Corporation, Sachin Kumar.

After it was posted to social media, the clip spread like fire as people applauded the father for supporting his tortured daughter. In the clip, Sakshi was seen coming out of her in-laws¡¯ house with a suitcase in her hands as a band playing ¡®baraat¡¯ songs accompanied her.?
Besides the hubbub of the baraat, some bystanders also burst firecrackers as she walked out. Sakshi was captured smiling as the band surrounded her, making the internet proud of the moment.?

The clip and Prem Gupta¡¯s intentions behind organising such an extravagant event were clearly a slap in the face for all the alleged abuse Sakshi had endured in her in-laws¡¯ house. In his caption, Gupta wrote, ¡°People marry off their daughters with great ambitions and with much pomp, but if the spouse and family turn out to be wrong or if it works, then you should bring your daughter back to your home with respect and dignity because daughters are very precious.¡±
Soon after Sakshi had gotten married to her now estranged husband, she was allegedly subjected to torture. As per reports, her husband would abuse her and even go as far as throwing her out of the house.?
How Did The Situation Turn On Its Heel?
Things changed for the better when Sakshi found out after a year into the marriage that her husband had already been hitched twice before. Even though she tried her best to ¡°save¡± her marriage, things did not pan out as she hoped. Soon after, Sakshi decided to divorce her husband and head back to her parental home.
Her father welcomed her brave decision and organised a full-blown baraat to take her back home.?
