Losing a family member can be hard. Coping with the loss of family members can take many forms. One way to keep your loved ones close to you is to preserve their memories. While some people prefer to keep these memories intact in pictures and videos, others take different routes.
A Twitter user found a permanent way to keep their loved ones close to them by getting their late grandparents tattooed on their body. As a tribute to their late grandparents who passed away last year Twitter user @pettyparthy got personalised tattoos on their body as a remembrance. The user shared on the platform that they had tragically lost both their grandparents within the span of nine months.
They explained in the caption, ¡°last year, within 9 months i lost my daadi and my naanu. today, i made permanent the ways i¡¯d like to remember them. my ajji with a strong cup of chaha and my ajoba- cheekily hiding imlis from his garden.¡±

The user explained that they got a teacup to remind them of their "ajji" (grandmother), who always preferred a strong cup of tea. They also elaborated on the other tattoo, which was a representation of their "ajoba" (grandfather) hiding tamarind in his garden. In the tattoo, the grandfather was depicted as a tiger, and the Twitter user explained that it was because of their maternal family¡¯s last name, which was "Wagh," meaning "tiger."
They also shared who designed the sentimental tattoos, "The tattoos were designed by a friend and inked by Crazy Finger in Pune. I also highly recommend artbythegods in delhi. she¡¯s inked 6 out of my 11 and every single one is fabulous."
People online were wholeheartedly impressed with the gesture of love for the?grandparents. One user wrote, "i wish i could hug you rn. i really do."
While another added, ¡°These are soo lovely! The tiger interpretation of your grandad is making me tear up idk why.¡±
A third wrote, ¡°So, so beautiful. I think they¡¯d love them so much.¡±?
