The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match between the Mumbai Indians (MI) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) began with a one-minute silence as the crowd, players, and officials paid tribute to the lives lost in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir.
The revenge week for SRH seems to be quite a fight, as key batsmen Travis Head and Ishan Kishan have been knocked out in just a couple of overs. Currently, when the article is being published, 4 wickets are already down for SRH.
First, Head and subsequently, Kishan's wicket have come as a big threat for SRH today. Just a few minutes after Head's wicket, Chahar had a half-hearted appeal, and Ishan Kishan walked off, and everyone thought it was a wide, but Kishan went back to him.
As soon as the SRH fans, who were eagerly waiting for the match, witnessed wickets falling, they took to social media X (formerly called Twitter), and one said, "For 1st time in IPL. All Top 4 SRH Players Scored Single Digit at a Home match ?#SRHvsMI"
"What¡¯s happening? SRH is imploding, and it¡¯s totally inexplicable. Can anyone explain why Ishan Kishan walked? There was hardly any appeal from the fielding side, and the replay shows no sign of an edge. We appreciate a batsman ¡°walking,¡± but only when they¡¯re 100% sure," another said.
"Ishan Kishan why went to pavillion..it's look like match fixing..SRH management take action on ishan Kishan.."
"Heinrich Klaasen doing for SRH what Tim David did for RCB the other day. Saving them from embarrassment."
