Kylie Jenner may have skipped Beyonc¨¦¡¯s concert, but she did not skip the drama, or the drip. On 29 May, the Kylie Cosmetics mogul and Hollywood heartthrob Timoth¨¦e Chalamet made a grand entrance at Madison Square Garden for Game 5 of the Knicks vs. Pacers playoff clash. Holding hands and rocking coordinating orange jackets, the couple made it very clear that courtside is their runway.
Kylie, 27, paired a bold orange leather jacket with a white crop top and black leather pants. She later ditched the jacket (because fashion and comfort, obviously). Timoth¨¦e, 29, matched the energy in a varsity-style orange-and-blue bomber over a black tank, dark jeans, and a silver chain.
But while the couple was serving couple goals, the internet was not having it. Fans were quick to call out Kylie for skipping Beyonc¨¦¡¯s concert the same night. Social media was flooded with ¡°you missed Mother for THIS?¡± comments, as netizens debated whether an NBA game deserved such devotion. Spoiler: the shade was intense.
Still, the vibes inside MSG were immaculate. The couple was seated next to Top Gun: Maverick star Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh, along with Ben Stiller, who, fun fact, was spotted jumping up alongside Chalamet in full Knicks fan mode. Chalamet, a known Knicks superfan, also had a full-circle celeb moment when he and Kylie ran into basketball legends Charles Barkley and Kenny ¡°The Jet¡± Smith.
In a clip shared by Bleacher Report, Barkley can be seen shaking Timoth¨¦e¡¯s hand and thanking him for ¡°taking care¡± of his Inside the NBA co-host Ernie Johnson. Chalamet smiled humbly, clearly living his best Knicks fan fantasy.
Romantically linked since 2023, Kylie and Timoth¨¦e have been on a PDA parade lately. They made their red carpet debut at the David Di Donatello Awards earlier this May, where Kylie stunned in yet another iconic black dress. Speaking to Harper¡¯s Bazaar, she said black dresses are her go-to because they are chic ¡°without being too attention-grabbing,¡± although let¡¯s be honest, nothing about Kylie ever isn¡¯t attention-grabbing.
Concert snub or not, Kylie and Timoth¨¦e made their courtside moment one for the highlight reel, haters and hot takes included.
