Meet KickFlip: JYP Entertainment's upcoming K-pop boy group ready to make waves

2025 is here, bringing exciting new K-pop debuts! Fans are eagerly awaiting fresh comebacks and music, and JYP Entertainment is introducing their latest 7-member pre-debut South Korean boy group, KickFlip, also known as KFP. The members—Kyehoon, Amaru, Donghwa, Juwang, Minje, Keiju, and Donghyeon—released a pre-release track on January 6, 2025, and are set to debut on January 20, 2025, with their first mini album, Flip it, Kick it!. Kyehoon

Birth Name: Lee Gye-hun

Birthday: September 16th, 2004

Originally from Jeju Island, South Korea, he later moved to Seoul. He passed JYP Entertainment’s auditions in 2015 and was a former contestant on LOUD. He also trained at Def Dance Academy alongside members of Stray Kids, BOY STORY, and ITZY.??

Amaru?

Birth Name: Mitsuyuki Amaru?

Birthday: October 21st, 2005?

Born in Misato, Saitama, Japan, he is also a former LOUD contestant. Previously a trainee at YG Entertainment, he trained alongside Asahi, Haruto, and Mashiho of TREASURE.

Donghwa?

Birth Name: Lee Dong-hwa?

Birthday: March 11th, 2006?

Born in Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea, he was a former student at Mainvocal Academy. In February 2018, Donghwa passed the audition for JYP Entertainment and has been training for around 7 years. He renewed his contract with JYP twice during his trainee period.?

Juwang?

Birthday: May 2nd, 2006?

Born in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea, he studied at the Soul Tree Practical Music Academy. The first song he recorded was Yoon Jongshin's "Uphill Road."?

Minje?

Birthday: May 12th, 2006?

Born in Seoul, South Korea, and raised in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, he is a former student at WithBill Dance Studio. He has been a JYP Entertainment trainee since August 2021.?

Birthday: October 4th, 2006?

Born in Tokyo, Japan, he too is a former LOUD contestant. He also appeared on JTBC's "Stage K" during the iKON episode.?

Donghyeon?

Birthday: March 13th, 2007?

Born in Jung-gu, Daegu, South Korea, he is a former ice hockey player who played for the Daegu Sky Eagles with the number 99. He is also a former LOUD contestant.?
