Mark Zuckerberg, the Meta CEO, never fails to keep his connection alive with Hollywood actor Jesse Eisenberg, who may have distanced himself from him. In a recent podcast, Mark Zuckerberg was seen wearing a blue T-shirt with ¡°Ardsley Athletics¡± written on it, the same T-shirt that actor Jesse Eisenberg wore in the 2010 drama series 'The Social Network,' based on the story of Facebook's founding.
The 40-year-old Meta CEO recently appeared on ¡°The Colin and Samir Show¡± podcast on March 27, where he was seen donning this T-shirt. Well, the host, Samir Chaudry, ended up asking him about the T-shirt.
He said, ¡°Correct me if I¡¯m wrong, but you are wearing a shirt right now that Jesse Eisenberg wears in the movie when Eduardo comes to the house in Palo Alto."
Zuckerberg replied, "Yes, that's true. "He continued, "One of my friends saw this online in an auction and was like, ¡®You have to get this.¡¯ So I was like, "Alright, yeah, sure, let¡¯s get it."
But what's the connection between Zuckerberg's link and the T-shirt? Well, Zuckerberg, in the podcast, revealed that it is the same T-shirt that Eisenberg wore in the show 'The Social Network,' and it is now his.
When Chaudry asked him if Jesse Eisenberg knows that Zuckerberg owns the t-shirt now, the Meta CEO said, "Now he does." As Zuckerberg mentioned that he got the T-shirt in an auction, a New York Post revealed that the iconic T-shirt was listed on PropstoreAuction, with the winning bid coming in between $2,000 and $4,000.
The 41-year-old Hollywood actor Jesse Eisenberg famously played the role of the Facebook and Meta cofounder in the 2010 movie 'The Social Network.'
Eisenberg received massive appreciation for the role in the film, but in an interview with BBC, he revealed that he no longer wants to be associated with the Meta CEO. However, Jesse Eisenberg was nominated for an Oscar for his role in The Social Network.?
